Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Her mother is English and the other half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish-English descent. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, after which the family relocated from the city of Victoria in London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. In her 16th year she left college and began pursuing a career acting full-time. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to be an actor and her dream came true when she was given an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
